2022 ISPN Annual Conference COVID-19 Guidelines

The safety of our attendees and presenters is a top priority for ISPN. In making the decision to host a live meeting, ISPN carefully weighed the risks and benefits and believe that, with the appropriate precautions, the 2022 Annual Conference can safely take place with minimal risk to our attendees.

To this end, ISPN will follow the guidelines of the CDC, as well as any applicable state or local regulations. We will work with the Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina to facilitate social distancing, and to make sure that meeting areas, sleeping rooms, and public areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized.

This may also include mask requirements while in meeting rooms, exhibit halls, and indoor public areas. Additionally, we will strive to set up meeting rooms, reception areas, exhibits, poster areas, registration areas, and public spaces under our control in a way that will facilitate appropriate social distancing.

ISPN strongly encourages all of our members and attendees to obtain a vaccination prior to coming to the Annual Conference. Vaccines are free and available through your primary care provider, as well as nearly all pharmacies and clinics.

As the pandemic continues to evolve, ISPN will closely monitor the situation and will modify our plan to provide the best balance between safety and accessibility. Please note that in following guidelines and regulations, ISPN may be required to modify attendee requirements. This may include requiring proof of vaccination to attend the Annual Conference and participate. Any updates will be posted on the ISPN website as well as emailed to those who have registered for the Conference.

Please note that by attending and participating in the 2022 ISPN Annual Conference being held March 16-19 in Redondo Beach, you agree to abide by all guidance, recommendations and requirements to reduce the transmission of COVID-19, including but not limited to, engaging in appropriate social distancing, wearing a mask in public areas, if required, and observing rules of room capacity limits. You also agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and, if you believe that you may be infected or exposed, to remove yourself from participation and interaction with others.  By attending this meeting, you agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless ISPN, its employees, officers, agents, contractors, sponsors, and sponsored venues, of and from any claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to your voluntary attendance at the ISPN Annual Conference whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during or after participation.
