Why attend ISPN 2021?
This is a historic time and attending ISPN 2021 is one of the best opportunities this year to learn the latest research, updates, and network with your colleagues across the profession.

Who can attend the Annual Meeting?
ISPN welcomes participation from both members and non-members working in any psychiatric mental health nursing role.

Since the Annual Meeting is entirely virtual and I am presenting remotely, do I still have to register for the meeting?
Yes. As with ISPN in-person meetings, all presenters are required to register.

Can non-members register and attend the virtual meeting?
ISPN offers both member and non-member rates. If non-members are interested in joining ISPN and receiving the member-discounted registration fee, when registering for the conference, make sure to select that you’d like to be a member. This will give you a discount!

When does the 2021 Annual Meeting registration open?
Registration opened in December 2020. Register here.

Who do I contact with registration and/or virtual meeting questions?
If you have any questions, please contact Member Services at [email protected]. Our staff may be experiencing a higher-than-normal level of inquiries about the virtual meeting, please be patient while waiting for a response. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you.

I will be unable to attend the entire conference. Do I have to pay the full registration?
While a 1-day registration is available for the 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting, all content (with the presenters consent) will be captured and made available On Demand through the end of August 2021, so you can watch any sessions you like once the program is over. *Note several presentations will not be recorded.

What if I don’t receive a registration confirmation?
If you do not receive a confirmation email within one week of registering, email the ISPN National Office at [email protected] to verify that your registration has been received.

What is the ISPN 2021 Cancellation Policy?
Any Annual Meeting registration cancellation must be made in writing directly to ISPN. If received on or before March 12, 2021, SRNT will apply a $50 USD administrative fee and refund the remainder of your registration fee after the meeting. After March 12, 2021, no refunds will be given.

PRESENTATION FORMATS

  • The Concurrent Sessions and plenary sessions are pre-recorded unless specifically noted.  Presenters will be available for Q&A after each presentation unless time runs over.  Attendees are asked to share their questions in the zoom chat box to be addressed at the end of each presentation.

  • The poster presenters have recorded a short presentation that will be viewed by attendees during the time allocated for the poster session. Each presenter will be available for Q&A time after the recording has played.  PDF versions of the posters will be available on the virtual site for viewing at anytime.  Attendees are asked to place their questions in the zoom chat box to be addressed at the end of each presentation.

What does “LIVE Q&A” mean?
LIVE Q&A will take place during each concurrent session. The Q&A will be moderated by the designated moderator. Moderated Q&A will be hosted within the “chat box” feature of the online meeting platform. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask a presenter a question by typing it in the chat box. Presenters will answer the questions live on camera once the streaming of the prerecorded talk(s) have concluded.
