ADHD Across the Lifespan...Seeing it from Both Sides Presenter: Daniel Wesemann, DNP, MSW, PMHNP-BC, ARNP, FAANP Date: Wednesday, February 21, 2024 Time: 12:00pm-1:00pm ET Summary: Caring for ADHD across the lifespan can be both a rewarding and challenging experience. Participants will understand as Joni Mitchell sang how to appreciate ADHD from both sides of caring and managing ADHD. The latest treatments for ADHD will be reviewed, along with addressing the myths of treating ADHD from childhood to adulthood. Dr. Dan Wesemann has been practicing as a PMHNP since 2008 and continues to practice part time along with directing the PMHNP-DNP program at the University of Iowa College of Nursing. He has always had a passion for identifying and caring for those with ADHD across the lifespan. He has published and given several local and national presentations on ADHD and loves to share his experiences integrating the latest research. He is also the past president of the ISPN Foundation board and recently inducted as a fellow in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
